November 2024
Hi there!
It’s November, and we meet again. For the past couple of years, our first snowfall (the kind that sticks!) has happened right on November 15th, and I’ve been eagerly watching the forecast to see when this year’s will arrive. So far, no snow in sight, but I’m still holding out hope to see those first flakes soon. There’s something magical about that first snowfall, isn’t there?
August through October were incredibly busy months for me, full of life changes and new challenges. With everything going on, I didn’t have much time to dedicate to writing. But I did spend a lot of time thinking about my goals and where I want my writing to take me in the years ahead. Sometimes those late-night thoughts, when sleep just won’t come, can be a good thing—fuel for new ideas and a renewed sense of direction.
This summer, I’ve also been working on simplifying my workflow. When I first started, it was just me, my writing, and my newsletter. Over time, social media became a big part of the mix, and for years I tried to keep up with posting on every platform. But gradually, I’ve stepped away, and this December, I’ll be going back to basics: just my newsletter and my writing. I’m so excited to focus fully on the work I love most.
December is also my birthday month, so what better gift to myself than more freedom to write?
With that, it’s time to open up the manuscript I’ve been working on and dive back in. I hope the rest of November treats you well—whether with snow or just peaceful moments—and I can’t wait to share some book updates with you in December.
Here’s to a cozy end to the year!
